Donald Lynn Eikenbary, 59, went to be with his wife Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013. Service: An outdoor memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at 7133 Plover Circle. He was a family man known for being a hard worker and was always willing to lend a hand when needed. He enjoyed gardening, working on cars, and attending NASCAR events. Survivors: Daughters, Kim and Donna; grandchildren, Alexis and Grant; mother, Elva Escola; siblings, Glenn Jr., Doris, Lynda, Dave, Jerry, Jane, Sue and Donna Rose; and sons-in-law, Paul Garrison and Juan Hernandez.

Summer Vacation 2013
Happy Summer Vacation! This year we stayed at the lake house for most of the summer time and played in the lake. We did visit Schiltterbahn in San Antonio and the Innerspace Caverns on the way back. During our trip Kim had a birthday and we celebrated at Marie Callender’s Mmmmm.

Happy Easter 2013
This year we had a quiet Easter at Rayford and Ellen’s house. The Easter Bunny did an excellent job of hiding the eggs and Rayford did an excellent job of cooking!

Karate
Grant decided to take karate lessons and had a great time learning the discipline and physical conditioning it takes to do all the “ninja” moves. His favorite was the ‘kata’, a series of choreographed movements. He graduated to his yellow belt in no time.
Log Cabin Village
We took a trip to the Log Cabin Village, a park and learning museum here in Fort Worth. Grant had a good time exploring all the olden tools and buildings. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun.
