Happy Birthday! We all got together to help Grandma celebrate her birthday Sunday. It was a little early but Monday is no day to celebrate! We took a drive to the Dallas Arboretum and spent the day taking in the sites and enjoying family time. There was a huge kids area of activities for Grant with a climbing treehouse to top it off. Grandma’s favorite flowers were on display EVERYWHERE. We all agreed we had never seen so many tulips in one place before. The weather was perfect and we capped of the day with some Uncle Julio’s. A perfect day to celebrate a wonderful woman!

Grant, accompanied by Mom and Dad, got to experience our first Boy Scout’s Blue and Gold Banquet on Friday! Grant put on his class A uniform and we all went to UUMC. Dinner was catered, we even got to taste some derby car desserts. Grant had earned his Tiger Rank and a plethora of belt loops and patches. We are so proud of our scout!

Some of us got up earlier than others (cough Grant cough) but the joy of the season enveloped us all. Here’s wishing for the best year for everyone…Ho Ho Ho!
